How much capital is required to trade your strategies?
It depends both on the strategy as well as your own personal risk-tolerance level. Some strategies have little historical drawdown, but that doesn't necessarily mean there won't be in the future. We do not recommend less than 10K to begin.
I've purchased a strategy that's designed for NQ minis - Can I run it on MNQ micros?
Of course, but keep in mind the returns may not be consistent with NQ. With MNQ you'll be taking the same number of trades, and paying the same fixed commission rates, while only making a fraction of the returns. Depending on the strategy, it may or may not be feasable to do this.
What platforms do you support?
Currently our strategies are coded in Ninjascript and are designed for the NinjaTrader 8 platform.
How does the buying process work?
During checkout you'll be asked for your NT8 machine ID. This is used as part of the licensing process. You can retrieve this by going to NT and browsing to Help -> About.
Once the order has been placed, you'll receive an email within 48 hrs (usually much sooner) with a custom build of the purchased strategy specifically designed for your machine.
Can I try one of your algos before I purchase?
Unfortunately we do not offer free trials at the moment, but do have a leasing option for if cost is a concern. If you have additional questions, don't hesitate to reach out: hello@ionstrategies.net
I'm a monthly subscriber (lease option) but decided I want to switch to a different strategy - Can I do this?
Yes! If you are no longer satisfied with your existing strategy and would like to try a different one without cancelling your subscription, please contact hello@ionstrategies.net and we'll be happy to accommodate. Note: Be advised that when switching, the original strategy will no longer work.
I want to turn my idea into an automated strategy, can you help me?
Of course! If you would like a custom strategy built based on a set of rules, please reach out to hello@ionstrategies.net to discuss. Pricing will be based on complexity of the request.
